SFC Minutes October 30, 2008

I. Call to Order 7:00pm

II. Alpha Phi Omega

a. Total Needed: $1,119 for a National Convention

b. Shawn Fidler: motioned to allocate total in full.

c. Friendly amendment: strike out the airfare

d. Total Allocated: $0

III. Men’s Wrestling

a. Total Needed: $3,417.64

b. Been participating in fundraisers to gain funding

c. Stephen: motioned to allocate all line items in full.

d. Total Allocated: $3,417.64

IV. BASIC

a. Total Needed: $1,862.76

b. Stephen: motioned to allocate $1,559.86 (due to the fact that they did not show up for allocations last semester)

c. Total Allocated: $1,559.86

V. Women’s Field Hockey

a. Total Needed: $2,965

b. Field Hockey goals will be permanently placed on the new fields at Lancer Park. Teams are willing to come play on our field but the fields are not completed.

c. For new organizations there is a cap of $2500 in the first year.

d. Stephen: motioned to allocate 2,500 for goals

e. Total Allocated: $2500

VI. WMLU

a. Total Needed: Reallocation of funds $5,000

b. Asking mostly for equipment and such to run the station

c. Cameron: motioned to reallocate $5,000

d. Total Reallocated: $5,000

VII. Men’s Club Volleyball

a. Total Needed: $250

b. Caitlin: motioned to allocate in full

c. Total Allocated: $250

VIII. Tri-Council

a. Total Needed: $8,758 (combined) Greek Summit Speaker ($2800) and Spring Conference ($5,958)

b. Coming in front of us as a tri-council for a Greek Summit speaker and Conference needed for the councils. Being allocated separately
